On July 12th, Missoula, Montana, will be joining hundreds of cities around the nation, as well as cities across Montana, to stand together and call for an end to child and family detention at the border. In partnership with Montanans for Immigrant Justice, Missoula Rises and Soft Landing Missoula, we invite you to join us in expressing our horror at the conditions in the detention center and the deaths of seven children in America’s custody.

This will be an educational vigil that will ask for continued action from each of you. Please join us to find out the ways in which we can work together to demand our Members of Congress ensure change will occur.

Kevin Martin, President of Peace Action, the nation’s largest peace and justice action group will be in Montana May 29 through June 2 for a Speaking Tour, arranged by the Helena Service for Peace and Justice (SERPAJ, founded 1990) and the Montana Peace Seekers Network (founded 2001), with additional local co-sponsors in each community.
