Please come join Montana Women For… in the Livingston Parade on Tuesday, July 2nd. We will have a float to ride on, or you can march and dance in costume with your issue on your sash.

Come to the end of 7th Street (corner of S 7th St and W Crawford Ave) in Livingston at 12:30 pm to don costumes, make a sash naming the issue that you’re most passionate about, and plan who will carry banners, signs, etc. Our float will be there and our volunteers will be there with materials.

We’ll shuttle everyone over to the Park High School parking lot at 2 to line up for the parade.

If you have any questions, or if you’d like to let me know you’re coming, please contact Margarita McLarty.

On Friday, June 28, the Women’s International League for Peace and Freedom, Montana Women For…, and Helena Service for Peace and Justice (SERPAJ) cosponsored a peace rally in Bozeman.

Over 70 people joined the protest in Bozeman, Montana, to oppose war with Iran.

Thanks are extended to the speakers for their powerful presentations; and many thanks go to everyone who supported the event, building a crowd of over 70, with at least 60 names on the petitions. Thanks also to our co-sponsors for all the help that they provided, as well as the resources for the table.
